Daily Schedule

This will be an ever-growing repository of music around showgrounds. Please check back continually for updates as show time draws near. Updates will also be made during show time, or as changes are required.

Please Note: The TMB and Nelson Hall both offer Concession Stands with plenty of great food, soft drinks, water, ice cream and tasty goodies!

Location Details

• (#14) - TMB (Thresherman's Memorial Building) 

For all Musicians.. 

Open stage during the day for you to come and play until one hour before the Style Show starts at 3pm.

Sign-up to play two songs or up to fifteen minutes, first come first served no reservations or erasing of names already listed. - Jam session at end of play-list.

If people are coming on stage with you as a group to help play backup, no joining of the two song/fifteen minute time slots. (ex: 6 people may not be on the stage for a 12 song jam-session)

For the General Public..

  • Nightly Music Fri-Sun at 7pm
  • Friday Night 8pm - Honorary Steam Queen Coronation
  • Saturday Night 8pm - Steam Queen Coronation
  • Sunday Morning - 9am - Sunday Mass
  • Fri-Sun 3pm - Style Show

  For all Musicians... 

9:00 AM on Friday and Saturday, Musicians meeting for show.

Sign-up to play for ½ hour time slots, first come first served no reservations or erasing of names already listed.

If people are coming on stage with you as a group to help play backup. No joining of individual ½ hour slots. Your group will only play for ½ hour which you signed up for.

Follow lights for instruction when your time slot ends. Yellow, two minutes before your time is up. Red, your time is up, stop playing. This makes it fair for everyone.

For the General Public... 

•  
  • 9:30 AM till 11:00 PM Music is played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM Monday, Open stage for Musicians to entertain.
• (#47) - Print Shop

Intermittent and Unscheduled. East side of building, along Main Street, on Front Porch.

• (#30) - Blacksmith's Shop
  8:00 PM Acoustic Jam starts every night Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No music on Monday.

• (#65) - Square Dancing
  Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, Sunday afternoon and evening, and Monday afternoon north of Nelson Hall.

• Cook Car - Horsepower Area
  You may catch music off and on at the Cook Car while you enjoy a cup of egg coffee. The Cook Car is open from 7am - 5pm during the show.

• (#78) - Earl's Sawmill
  Late evening music has been heard at Earl's Sawmill over the past few years. Stop on by for a listen after nightfall during the show.

• (#19) - Prony Brake

For all Musicians... 

• We are looking for more groups to entertain at the Prony Brake. - See Russ in the Nelson Hall during show.

For the General Public...

• 7:00 PM music is played until the start of the Spark Show Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

• Gazebo(Located between the school house and main street house on Main street.)
  Music is played usually all during day.

• (#31) - Freeport Building 
  Music is played in this building mainly in the afternoon.

• (#50) - Downer Church
  (NOTE: The Chaplain for the Showgrounds can be found here.) 

Musicians - Please come in and sign up for 1 hour playing times.

Friday - 

• 10:00 AM till 7:00 PM Gospel and Inspirational Music.
• 7:30 PM till 9:30 PM Come and join in a music sing along.

Saturday - 

•  
  • 10:00 AM till 5:00 PM Gospel and Inspirational Music.
  • 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM Memorial Service held at the Case Eagle Memorial Wall
  • (In case of RAIN, it will be held in the Threshermen's Memorial Building. (TMB)
  • 7:30 PM till 9:30 PM Come and join in a music sing along. 

Sunday -

•  
  • 10:00 AM till 7:00 PM Gospel and Inspirational Music.
  • 7:30 PM till 9:30 PM Come and join in a music sing along.

Monday -

•  
  • Church is open for music to be heard but no sound system is set up.
